TRAVEL PREPARATION

What documents are required for traveling to Istanbul?
You will only need your passport and your plane ticket. If you are not a European citizen, check with the consulate whether a visa is required for your trip. If you have medical conditions, discuss them with your consultant and bring your medical file if necessary.
Should I take any special precautions before departure?

Make sure to follow the clinic’s specific instructions regarding pre-procedure preparation, such as avoiding certain medications or foods.
Any tips for packing my suitcase?
It is recommended to wear shirts, cardigans, or tops with a front opening (buttons or zipper) to make dressing easier after the procedure. This will prevent contact between your clothes and your scalp and/or face, which is important to protect the grafted areas. Additionally, a checked bag is required for your return flight, as the clinic will provide lotions that are not allowed in the cabin.
What is the cancellation or appointment modification policy?
In case of cancellation within the week prior to the procedure, a cancellation fee of €480 will apply. It is recommended to contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your appointment.

TRANSPORT AND ACCOMMODATION

Does the clinic organize transportation from the airport to the hotel and vice versa?
Yes, Belle Greffe organizes all transfers between the airport, the hotel, and the clinic. A private driver will pick you up at the airport and take you directly to your hotel, then to the clinic on the day of the procedure.
How is transportation from the hotel to the airport arranged for the return?
The clinic’s driver will take you from the hotel to the airport for your return flight.
Is the hotel provided by the clinic or do I need to book it myself?
The hotel is included in the quote and booked by the clinic. You will receive the hotel details before your trip.
Can I bring a companion to the hotel?
Yes, you can add a companion to your hotel room. It is important to inform the consultant handling your case. A small additional fee will apply.
How will I find the driver at the airport?
Upon arrival, the driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign, making it easy for you to find them. They will take you directly to your hotel.
Will I easily find places to eat near the hotel?
Yes, the hotel selected by the clinic is located in an area where you will easily find restaurants, cafés, and other dining options nearby.

THE DAY OF THE PROCEDURE

How is transportation to the clinic organized on the day of the procedure?
The clinic’s driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the clinic. You will receive all necessary details the day before the procedure.
What will be the schedule of my procedure?
Our coordinator will contact you directly to provide precise information regarding your procedure schedule.
How long does a hair transplant procedure take?
The duration of the procedure depends on the technique used and the number of grafts to be transplanted, but it generally takes between 4 and 8 hours.
Will a translator be present during the procedure?
Yes, a translator will be present to assist you during the procedure and facilitate communication with the medical team.
What is the process after the procedure?
After the procedure, you will receive post-operative care instructions and be taken back to the hotel. Regular follow-up is planned to monitor your recovery.

FOLLOW-UP AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Will there be follow-up after I return to France?
Yes, regular follow-up is conducted via WhatsApp. You will need to send us regular photos of your progress. You can also ask any questions and clarify any doubts, particularly regarding the resumption of certain activities.
Are there lifestyle recommendations before and after the procedure?
Yes, we will provide specific instructions on what to avoid before the operation and which activities you should temporarily pause after the procedure, along with other advice to optimize results.
What should I do if I have concerns or questions after returning?
You can contact the Belle Greffe clinic at any time via WhatsApp. Our team is available to answer your questions and provide the necessary support during your recovery period.
Will the dressing after the transplant be removed by the clinic or can I do it myself?
The dressing is usually removed at the clinic the day after the operation. However, if your flight schedule does not allow it, you can remove it yourself. It is a very simple procedure.
What products and medications should I use after the procedure?
We will recommend specific products and provide detailed care instructions after the procedure. It is essential to follow these recommendations to ensure optimal healing and good results.
